Karen Main - Window covering specialist since 1996

Karen grew up with a talented Mother, Greta van den Bogerd who was self-taught in the art of creating custom window coverings.  In 1996, Karen joined in full time, under her own business name Homestead Fashions.  She worked closely with her mother until her retirement in 2001.

From there on, Karen continued to grow the business from her home, expanding to include a resource library for designers and decorators.  All the while being supported by the sewing skills of Sandy Blake and later Belinda Rowe.

In 2017, it felt more current to change the name of the business to Main & Company Interiors Inc. and there began the search for a commercial space to house the growing business.

Welcome to 197 Louth Street in St. Catharines.  A place for the team to work alongside each other creating beautiful soft furnishings in one of two large workrooms, and a fabulous space for designers to source fabrics, wall coverings, soft and hard window coverings, window hardware and area rugs.

Along with the move came the wonderful addition of Samara Beals as Studio Manager whose attention to detail and a fabulous eye for what the trade is looking for has been a godsend to the business.
