We are a St. Catharines, Niagara company specializing in custom upholstery, window and wall coverings, custom bedding, specialty fabrics and more. Karen Main has been the principal since 1996 and ensures the utmost attention and care is put to every detail created for your home.

Karen has worked with a number of designers over the past couple of decades and has a thorough understanding of design specs and what is entailed in creating fully customized window coverings, blinds, bedding, pillows, wallcoverings, and upholstered furnishings for interior and exterior use.

For Designers

Over the years I have had the opportunity to build great working relationships and wonderful friendships with many talented designers and decorators. As well as workroom and installation services I have an in-house resource library for the trade. With the shared buying power we can bring the selections of the bigger centres to the Niagara Region.

The library contains fabric collections from Kravet, JF Fabrics, Maxwell, Duralee, Fabricuts, Trend, Romo, Bilbrough and Companies, Avante Garde, Robert Allen, Unique, Equus, Alendel, JEnnis, Barrow and more.

In addition to the fabrics and wallcoverings a wide variety of hardware samples are in house plus catalogues from many of the same companies. For Wallcoverings, Thibaut, JF, Woeller contract, Provincial, Metro, Maxwell, Crown, Kravet and Prime. For blinds I carry samples for Graber, Sun Glow, Elite, Maxxmar and Altex.

The workroom is available for designers who need us to create your designs. I have the references available to assure you of the quality of work we provide. The sewing is done by myself and my assistant, and the occassional part-time help as required. With over 20 years of experience, Karen and her team of Sandy and Belinda take great pride and care in creating your custom designs.

From site measure and through the planning stage I will share any concerns I have and offer any advice I can to make sure the end result is something we can all be proud of. Myself and my installer will offer you professionalism that will put both you and your clients at ease.

For Homeowners

For the homeowner looking to bring their own designs to life or solve their sun or privacy issue, I’ve been told I am very easy to work with. I have at my disposal a great library of sample books from all different companies and in a wide variety of price ranges. In the comfort of your home/business we can go through samples and you can take the time you need to make your choices.I will respect your budget as if it were my own and appreciate your own personal style and the function you require.

If you have a room you are looking to decorate with window coverings, furniture to recover, new furniture or walls to paper, it all starts with an initial consultation. Before I come out I’ll ask you what you are looking for, colour scheme and style. Based on that information I’ll bring out a “smattering” of samples that we can start with – but don’t be surprised if you fall in love with something you didn’t expect.

During that initial appointment I’ll take the measurements I require and once we have a selection of fabrics, blinds and hardware I can work out the pricing. no obligation When you decide to go ahead we can work out timelines (typically 6 weeks). Don’t worry about installation, myself or an installer will take care of that. yes, I install too.

I can assure you that I take great pride in the work that myself and my assistant produce – and I’m very proud of the repeat clients and designers that I have.
